  3. - Rich Miller - Friday, Jun 30, 06 @ 1:09 pm:

Dusty seemed to enjoy it, too.

  4. - ChicagoCynic - Friday, Jun 30, 06 @ 1:14 pm:

Thanks Rich. That was a great rendition of the national anthem.

  5. - chinman - Friday, Jun 30, 06 @ 1:49 pm:

    Thank You Rich!
I only wish I would have known what it was before I pushed play. I had to get out the bong and watch it again.

  6. - paddyrollingstone - Friday, Jun 30, 06 @ 3:11 pm:

“Wave it wide and high” - well done, Rich.

  7. - Sarge - Friday, Jun 30, 06 @ 6:26 pm:

What a fine piece of harmony. Loved it, loved it.
thanks Rich. A fine end to a fine news day.

  11. - Criminal Enterprise Called Illinois - Saturday, Jul 1, 06 @ 1:17 am:

Wow! Too cool Rich! Best rendition of the Anthem I have EVER heard. Its a hard song to sing and they harmonized so creatively. Beats Jimi Hendrix’s rendition, even. So glad to see you show your roots Rich…it has indeed been a long, strange trip, hasn’t it? Viva USA! Viva Rock n Roll! Long live the Dead.

  12. - HoosierDaddy - Sunday, Jul 2, 06 @ 3:23 pm:

That was fine. Every “celebrity” who is asked to sing the anthem should watch that clip as a “how to.” Beautiful work, and very respectful. Plus… it was the Grateful Dead!

  13. - So-Called "Austin Mayor" - Monday, Jul 3, 06 @ 10:56 pm:

That is the first time the national anthem has given me the munchies.

  14. - reveling in the news - Tuesday, Jul 4, 06 @ 11:13 am:

    sweet!
