To be fair, I wouldn’t have posted about Mr. Whitacre’s jackpot retirement plan had Bruno Behrend not posted on it first.

    Thanks for the plug, Paul.

Carol Moseley Braun is lucky that two college students stopped to help her when she was attacked by a knife-wielding criminal. Illinois does not allow her to carry a concealed handgun for self-protection from vicious criminals. How many more citizens have to be attacked and/or killed before Illinois sees the wisdom of a concealed carry law?

  3. - Opie - Monday, Apr 30, 07 @ 3:08 pm:

How about the Governor reimbursing the taxpayer’s of Illinois for the signs that read “Open Road Tolling, Rod R. Blagojevich, Governor.” Blago has more than enough money in his campaign cofers repay this debt of $480,000, then take them down!
We don’t need to be reminded of who the governor of Illinois is or do we?

Yet another story - $2 mil. — for what? REZKO TIES | Subcontractor on county deal hasn’t shown it’s done any work

ALARM BELLS SHOULD BE GOING OFF ALL OVER THE PLACE ABOUT ANYTHING REZKO HAS TOUCHED!
