I can’t see how the feds could try to stop Blago from “trying to taint the jury pool.” He can scream he’s innocent until the cows come home, wherever and whenever he wants. It’s America, right?
The feds weren’t too worried about tainting a jury pool at the press conference after his arrest. Or, for that matter, when someone, obviously from the government, leaked anonymously that he was curled up in a fetal position when they came to get him.

The Department of Juvenile Justice needs new leadership. Governor Quinn needs to immediately replace Blago’s pick for the departments director. Also get rid of the two deputy directors in DJJ that are employed but not funded under the new DJJ law. This ghost payroll is taken out of other institutions employee payroll. The management cover ups in this department would make your hair stand up. Not to mention the abuse of the kids housed in the Department of Juvenile Justice. At least under the dept of corrections there were people paying attention. Now who is watching? The chair of DJJ State Rep. Annizette Collins should stop pointing fingers and take care of this disaster they created.
