McKenna with a margin of 5%

  21. - Joe from Joliet - Wednesday, Dec 23, 09 @ 12:21 pm:

As much as I want to see Dillard cause I think he’s a good guy it’s gonna be Ryan with 32% and none of the others breaking 20%

  24. - quincy - Wednesday, Dec 23, 09 @ 12:53 pm:

why I ask do the republicans always hide the truth about ho they have been with. Like jimmy boy RYAN [another one] said he and stu lev. are good friends and he always gave him lots of money for his campains. Come on tell us all the truth about you and your ol body stu lev. Maybe the feds need to look in your closet and she what they find.Your just another Ryan hideing the truth right

Madigan will blame Quinn for the big tax increase that passes the house on Feb 5.

  27. - Capitol View - Wednesday, Dec 23, 09 @ 1:37 pm:

it really does not matter, as long as the House continues to block tax restructuring and reform as part of an overall tax increase.

Which of these candidates, Rs or Ds, can get the Speaker to change his mind in 2010? (none)

  28. - Phineas J. Whoopee - Wednesday, Dec 23, 09 @ 2:14 pm:

If Quinn does it right and reinforces in the voters minds that Hynes is running to keep the boys in charge-in charge, he should win by 15 to 20%.

In the abbreviated crunch that will begin in about a week, I can’t see a Republican gaining enough name recognition and notoriety to overtake Ryan. Ryan should win by 7%

  29. - LouisXIV - Wednesday, Dec 23, 09 @ 2:38 pm:

    Hynes by 1
    Ryan by 3

  30. - DuPage Dave - Wednesday, Dec 23, 09 @ 2:39 pm:

Quinn will win by 6 points over Hynes. I wish it were otherwise.

Ryan will win by 2 points over the crowded field.

Question: Is there any Republican less capable of beating Quinn than Ryan? He’s got name recognition but lots and lots of negatives, plus he’s been out of the game for quite a while. I think any of the other Repugs would have a much better chance.

Have a great Christmas, fellow CapFaxers!!

  31. - Pre - Wednesday, Dec 23, 09 @ 2:49 pm:

    Hynes 52.5%
    Quinn 46.5%
