  17. - Jake From Elwood - Monday, Oct 31, 11 @ 11:56 am:

Madigan should go as Mr. Rogers, because the capitol building is his neighborhood.
Quinn could go as the actor who plays “Mr. Speedy Delivery” because Gov. Quinn also plays the role of a dutiful public servant but he is neither speedy nor does he deliver.
Cullerton, Cross and Radogno should be the various puppets on the program. We all know that Mr. Rogers did most of the voices and moved the puppets around.

  18. - Jake From Elwood - Monday, Oct 31, 11 @ 11:59 am:

LOL One Man. Gotta love the Seger reference. How about a nod to Paul Westerberg: PQ is a rebel without a clue who is searching for something to do.

Turning the question on its head, let’s see who these people are without their masks:

Quinn: Unmotivated, he’s a lazy guy who’s mailing it in and gets angry when anybody expects him to work harder.

Madigan: Disenchanted, a jaded old man who is watching his creation turn against him, who plots in secret, often against himself.

Cullerton: Inauthentic, he’s trying desperately to not be Madigan’s guy, he’s left twisting to keep his caucus together.

Radogno: Uninterested, she’s counting the days until she can retire with a full pension.

Cross: Unappreciated, he can’t believe the conservatives in his party don’t see his genius and acknowledge how great he is.

With costumes like these, it’s always Halloween in Springfield.

  27. - Boone's is Back - Monday, Oct 31, 11 @ 12:56 pm:

Quinn should dress up like the guy who plays the piano by the escalators at malls because clearly he’s just background noise.
