A brief moment of Oscar-related Zen

Tuesday, Mar 18, 2014

* It’s been a very rough day, partly because Oscar the Puppy is with his mommy while I work. She took him for a haircut…

* Oscar will be spending the evening away from home because of the election. I miss him terribly, but he can occasionally be a distraction…

Oscar was my write-in vote for governor.

A cute puppy bursting with love that wants to play?

I don’t understand what you mean. What distraction?

  3. - Oswego Willy - Tuesday, Mar 18, 14 @ 4:51 pm:

    Perfect timing.

Thank you for the recalibration. Thank you for sharing.

Oscar seems to put things in perspective quite well.

  4. - D.P.Gumby - Tuesday, Mar 18, 14 @ 4:56 pm:

Won’t Oscar be giving his analysis?

    Distractions.

    Zen.

Jolene in Lincoln Square, Chicago, says hello to Oscar. She just turned 11 (and is wearing her pink birthday dress), but due to some chronic illness, it’s been a long day of vet visits today. She’s resting before election returns start rolling in.

Thanks Pup–on a Day like Election Day, to see a Good, Little Doggie like you happy and carin’-less like the rest of us buffoons about what happens in all of the Illinois Elections today is the stuff that makes the World go ’round. God bless Oscar, and thanks to his “Master” for lightening things up…! (And now, as I soon hunker down, along with a Bunch of other CAP FAX Crazies to see all ‘o the In/Upcoming Results, maybe a good, stiff Drink will help, too)!!

  13. - Nearly Normal - Tuesday, Mar 18, 14 @ 8:08 pm:

Thanks, that’s what we need after the day is over. That and a cold beer that tastes awful good.

  14. - Attilio - Tuesday, Mar 18, 14 @ 8:12 pm:

Sweet lil guy. Blissfully unaware of politics….we can all learn something from him
