Hey, Rich. I received this invite on LinkedIn and, if I did not have a conflcit that I could not get out of, I would make every effort to attend and meet you in person. Keep us all updated on future appearances! Have fun!

  2. - VanillaMan - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:22 am:

    That is fantastic!
I’d love to go, but I am still on vacation and 500 miles from the Loop. BTW - it is only 65 degrees up here and the Grain Belt Premium is a gift from god, I swear.

  3. - LizPhairTax - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:29 am:

Nice. Still plenty of time to catch first pitch at Wrigley after. Well planned, sir.

  4. - VanillaMan - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:33 am:

BTW - the VanillaWife wants me to shut down the laptop and deal with the VanillaKids, so I’m out for the rest of the day.

Where was OW today? Did he finally wear out that keyboard pounding it out against Rauner?

  5. - Lou Lang - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:40 am:

Wish I could be there. You need a heckler!

  6. - The Captain - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:43 am:

What topic will be the focus of your speech?

  7. - John A Logan - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:43 am:

For the Hillbillys down here in northern Kentucky, we would love to have you come speak at the SIU Paul Simon Public Policy Institute sometime.

  8. - Streator Curmudgeon - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:51 am:

Rich, sorry I can’t make it. I have to…go see my ailing mother. Yeah, that’s the ticket…my ailing mother.

  9. - lake county democrat - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:52 am:

Does business casual fly at the Union League Club on a Friday? And is there a rule against speakers throwing food at the guests?

  10. - Norseman - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:52 am:

Willy’s out stealth campaigning. We need to do what we can to make sure the poor quality party nominees are not elected.

  11. - lake county democrat - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:53 am:

    (or any other objects?)

  12. - A guy... - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 11:53 am:

How badly do you want me there….and what’s on the menu? lol.

  13. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 12:13 pm:

===Where was OW today? Did he finally wear out that keyboard pounding it out against Rauner?===

First you tell me to go away, now you miss me?

    - Norseman -, the groundswell is palpable.

  14. - Jimmy CrackCorn - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 12:28 pm:

=Does business casual fly at the Union League Club on a Friday?=

If I remember right…no denim on the weekdays at ULC unless you are a guest of the hotel, so depends on just how casual your business casual office is.

  15. - circularfiringsquad - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 1:36 pm:

    capt fax
    Its summer. Its friday
Do we need to tickets to cover big fee?
If yes count us for $25 and the seat to hungry person

  16. - Give Me A Break - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 2:22 pm:

Unless the Cap Fax Puppy is making an appearance I’m forced to remain in Springpatch.

  17. - Grandson of Man - Thursday, Jun 19, 14 @ 3:05 pm:

    Thanks for the invite.

I’ll be out of state tomorrow. One day I’d love to take the wife to one of these events.

“Keep us all updated on future appearances!”

    Yes, please.
