Heh. * Anyway, I posted that little story as a prelude to telling you that my intern, Marc Reiter, was elected MIG governor over the weekend after serving two terms as House Speaker. Before you congratulate him, just know that he has to put a budget together next year which closely resembles Gov. Bruce Rauner’s proposal. By this picture, I can see you take yourself far too seriously. Now is the time to be carefree, let your hair down, wear sunglasses because your future is so bright. For goodness sake, smile.
As “governor”, I have a few tips, pointers really, to get you through your “administration;
Don’t take anything from the Old State Capitol.
That’s it. That’s the list.
Also, veto any legislation that requires online identities public. I’d testify on behalf of your administration, but…well, you can maybe find someone else.
Congrats again, don’t tske anything!
