From: Sara Feigenholtz

Subject: Pretty please put this in Monday’s Capitol Fax

    The newly formed Cubs Caucus will celebrate its launch this Wednesday May 20th 8pm at DH Browns

    Cubs.vs Padres. First.pitch 9:10pm.

    (You don’t have to mention the 6 in a row thing if you dont want…)

    Kosher dogs on the grill from Romanian (yum) and a whole lot more.

* My response…

Ugh

* Her retort…

Pretty

    The last time the Chicago Cubs won, the nation had a Republican President and Congress, Illinois had a Republican Governor and General Assembly, Cook County had a Republican County Board President and Chicago had a Republican Mayor. At the same time, Detroit had a promising future and the Cubs were based on the West Side.
