I’ve seen her speak live and her personal story is really strong… but this really only scratches the surface. Alvarez will be coming out strong with attacks on Foxx as inexperienced and as a shill of Preckwinkle so she can have more county wide influence. The reality is that she spent most of her time at the Juvenile Court, so arguably she did work on cases involving children. The bath tub story is part of her stump speech. I heard her give it at a northside political event and it was gold. Alvarez is naturally trying to change the campaign narrative to “experience” but just like in ‘08, this election we see Democratic Primary voters want solid judgement over experience.
