The “Morning News” when it’s “in your face” really shows your age
But that don’t worry me none in my eyes they say anything
I laughed at all of his jokes my “love” he didn’t need to coax

You lured me away from Trump, just to save you from being alone
You stole my soul and that’s a pain I can do without
All I needed was a candidate lending a guiding hand
But you turned into a spoiler and mother what a spoiler, you walked them out
All you did was wreck the week
and in the end kicked Trump in the head

You lured me away from home ’cause you didn’t want to be alone

I suppose I could collect my thoughts and get on back to life
Or steal the party’s playform and make a living out of stopping strife
Or find myself a campaign taking a stand, that needs a helpin’ hand
