  1. - te - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 2:45 pm:

Road trip from my home office to my back deck. And, oh yea, alcohol.

  2. - Ron Burgundy - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 2:46 pm:

Lounge. Do my best not to infect anyone with a disease (no indication I have one).

  3. - Papa2008 - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 2:54 pm:

Watch the Rock the Dock and Chatham fireworks, at the same time, from a safe distance from all other viewers. Sit in my back yard, observe the wild life, drink an adult beverage, smoke a fine cigar, and enjoy the company of my lovely wife. It’s good to be the king!

  4. - Huh? - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:00 pm:

Trip to back yard and cabin in woods. Whatever Sheba tells me to do. May try a homemade deep dish pizza in a cast iron skillet.

  5. - Dotnonymous - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:01 pm:

Gonna have a yummy little fire in my backyard and watch neighbor’s fireworks displays…from my high spot.

  6. - Oneman - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:02 pm:

A bit of yard work, some music, and my hammock.

  7. - ArchPundit - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:03 pm:

A few drinks in the backyard and calming the dog.

  8. - Ray Gun - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:08 pm:

Contemplating how a once great nation is currently destroying itself.

  9. - Wensicia - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:13 pm:

I will be home listening to the neighborhood fireworks, like i’ve been doing for the past 2 or 3 weeks. (Stay safe. Wear a mask.)

  10. - yinn - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:15 pm:

One of our household (the medical professional) tested positive for COVID this week, the rest of us negative as of yesterday. Everyone is feeling well at the moment, but we’ve incorporated special logistics and weird

  11. - DuPage Guy - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:16 pm:

    Avoid people like…well, avoid people.

  12. - Dotnonymous - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:21 pm:

I’m going to avoid anyone who utters the word, “Uptick”…because I’m tired of “Soft English”…which goes by another stinky name down on the farm.

  13. - LakeCo - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:24 pm:

    Corona party with Bailey!

  14. - 44th - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:25 pm:

First baseball tourney! Two games. Ahhh. Outdoors. Socially distanced. In and out.

  15. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:26 pm:

    I’ll be home.

  16. - Slugger O'Toole - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:26 pm:

Play with my new toy…Weber SmokeFire EX6 Wood Fired Pellet Grill. I’ll cook and eat WAY more than I need to, but it’s a reason to sit outside for hours enjoying the summer and a few beers while “cooking”.

  17. - Proud Sucker - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:27 pm:

Same as every year Pinky, to keep all my fingers. Which will be easy this year as we are just having a family bonfire. Only four of us, so not maybe more of a campfire than bonfire.

  18. - Collinsville Kevin - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:28 pm:

Yardwork, house cleaning, and likely a couple brewpubs.

  19. - Amalia - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:29 pm:

home blasting AC so the pets don’t go nuts.

  20. - Nick Name - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:33 pm:

Smoking some ribs on the Weber.

    Beer

Beyond that, “If you want to see August 1st, then maybe you should stay indoors and isolate on July 4th.”

  21. - PublicServant - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:39 pm:

  26. - Candy Dogood - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 3:58 pm:

    Home. Wine. Panicked dog.

And trying not to stress out about all of the people that aren’t home.

  27. - Groundhog Day - Thursday, Jul 2, 20 @ 4:21 pm:

    Watching “Hamilton” on TV stream
