AL Central Champion White Sox. It just sounds so, so, so good.

  2. - Tommydanger - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:13 pm:

Oh, this feels so good. Left no doubt in taking care of business right off the bat. Don’t stop now boys.

  3. - JS Mill - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:15 pm:

    Feels good, real good.

Now let’s win a playoff series.

  4. - Chito - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:15 pm:

Yes! I read that it’s also the first time they consecutive years, so here’s hoping we go all the way to the World Series.

  5. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:19 pm:

Congrats White Sox and White Sox fans.

Hope y’all have a good run. Rest those arms, get the rotation set, and keep the bats hot.

  6. - Andersonville Right Winger - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:21 pm:

keep Craig Kimbrel away from gasoline..man zero control the last month

  9. - Cool Papa Bell - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:30 pm:

From a Cubs fan - ENJOY it, so happy for any baseball fan out there seeing their team win.

Excited for October baseball to be back in Illinois.

  10. - Amalia - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:30 pm:

it is stunning that in a game in Detroit it was only the 4th time this season that many of the best players were in the same game at the same time. so many injuries. hoping they keep it together like today, fantastic homers, getting back on track. don’t care how we win, just win.

  11. - Grandson of Man - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:52 pm:

It was over in the Sox’ division a long time ago. Congrats for winning in the division rival’s stadium, if not at Sox Park. Cleveland has been good to Chicago in recent years (see 2016). May this be the start of long-term success.

  12. - Cubs in '16 - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:55 pm:

    Good luck Sox!

  13. - iroquois county dem - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 4:01 pm:

YES keep the line moving boys

  14. - Mason born - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 4:05 pm:

    Congrats Sox fans.

It won’t happen but a Cards Sox series would be pretty amazing. Esp with a 7th game Cards win.

  15. - LoyalVirus - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 4:14 pm:

Congrats! Looking forward to cheering for the Sox!

  16. - Barton Lorimor - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 4:14 pm:

    *heavy sigh*

Enjoy your run however long it lasts.

  17. - NonAFSCMEStateEmployeeFromChatham - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 4:16 pm:

At last check it’s in the 8th, but the Cards have currently overcome a 4-0 early deficit to lead the Brew Crew 7-5.

  18. - Frank talks - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 4:19 pm:

    Should be a fun October

  19. - up2now - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 4:25 pm:

Congratulations! A Sox-Cardinals World Series would be neat.

  20. - bogey golfer - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 4:59 pm:

    Sox-Cardinals or Sox-Brewers. Don’t stop now boys.

  21. - Anyone Remember - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 5:15 pm:

Over / under on a replay of the 1917 World Series (White Sox v. Giants)? 1959 (White Sox v. Dodgers)?

  22. - Friendly Bob Adams - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 5:38 pm:

As the Hawk would say “Don’t stop now, boys”… they can still get home field vs Houston if they have a win streak in the last 10 games.

  23. - Amalia - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 5:42 pm:

Barton Lorimor new translation for Debbie Downer.

  24. - jackmac - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 6:31 pm:

Go-Go Sox. Fire up the sirens.

  25. - low level - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 7:29 pm:

Love it and believe they will go far, especially with Tim Anderson as the de facto leader of the club.

Kimbrel does make me nervous…not sure if that trade was good or not.

  26. - Coco - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 8:43 pm:

Congrats to the Sox. My team, the St. Louis Cardinals are on a real tear 12-game winning streak! Here’s to a Cardinals/Sox WS, which would be very good for Illinois.

  27. - Ginhouse Tommy - Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 11:03 pm:

The Sox success can be explained in two words: Tony Larussa. He is in the Hall of Fame for good reason.

  28. - Annonin' - Friday, Sep 24, 21 @ 9:09 am:

Sox and anyone would be great. Sox-Cards would be a hoot. We think it would bring special joy into W-V family….teehee.

  29. - JS Mill - Friday, Sep 24, 21 @ 9:37 am:

=A sure loss against the Dodgers.=

    You must not follow sports.

    And bite me.
