Dew points have been so low here in central Illinois this late spring/early summer its really be something to see just how comfortable 89-91 degrees can be.

Mostly sunny and mild today here in beautiful DuPage County. Taking care of some yard work before it heats up again. Wish I could send some of our on-and-off rain to folks that need it.
Looking forward to the 55th annual International Snowmobile Congress that will be held in Moline at the Vibrant Arena at the Mark. Started today with a car ride to Hopedale, Il snowmobile Museum. Over 360 attendees from Canada and United States snowbelt will be there to attend meetings of the many different organizations involved with snowmobiling and while meeting up with some old friends and making some new friends. The Illinois Association of Snowmobile Clubs is hosting the annual event. Yes, snowmobiling is still a very active sport, just not as much in Illinois as before!
Camp Ondesonk has started another season in Ozark, Illinois with kids from all over the state of Illinois (and beyond) attending the first week. Having traveled to or lived in all corners of Illinois it is probably the most beautiful large piece of privately held land in the state I know of. I’m sure there are a few people at the statehouse who attended. Isabel, a Camp O kid, will be glad to know her little sisters are having great weather so far this week.

If there is such a thing as perfect (but really dry) weather, this morning we have it in the 217.

Some brief showers in western Illinois on Sunday, but more hot/dry weather in general unless Wednesday brings a bit of reprieve.
