Even though we’re not really celebrities…

* Today’s “celebrity” harness horse race will be held at the Grandstand today around 2:45 pm. I’ll be racing against flaks from the four legislative caucuses.

Use this post as a State Fair Governor’s Day activities open thread. Or, whatever.

UPDATE: I placed. John Patterson got the win. I’ll have video tomorrow.

  7. Too bad Blago doesn’t have use of a State plane, I’m sure he’d head right down there to shake some hands, it being Governor’s Day and all. And poor, poor Quinn. He’s just soooo uninteresting.

  10. Rich, I think the horses are the celebrities. The riders are only needed for ballast. Bet the mortgage payment on the tiniest driver (sorry Rich, but I’m guessing that isn’t you).
