  1. Rich, why did you waste time by including a “Tuition going up” story, which falls under the “Dog bites man” catagory?

Better you should have included the featured Letter to the Editor in today’s edition of the Chicago Sun-Times.

  2. Buried in the Sun-Times article was a tasty tidbit that has Michael LaPidus challenging that stooge, Antonin “Tony” Peraica for the Lyons Township Republican Committeeman’s race, which LaPidus trails now by only 96 votes out of 5000 cast. The good and decent voters of Lyons Twp and the 16th District would do well to rid themselves of Peraica and his flunky, the King of Melrose Park, Mike Manzo. Peraica & Manzo, the Two Stooges.

  3. Does anybody have any background on this whole LaPidus vs. Peraica thing?

Is it just local infighting about what happened in Cicero and the Vrydoliak connection and Peraica beating the incumbent Commissioner the last time?

As somebody who used to know LaPidus,I just wonder why LaPidus hates Peraica so much and how he got involved in all this and the Stroger angle, etc. Why did Liz Gorman, Maureen Murphy, Christine Radagno and others get involved in this against Peraica?

And as somebody who used to know LaPidus, I am completely and totally supportive of Peraica in whatever this contest is all about.

Any future political opponents of LaPidus could find a virtual treasure trove by looking through the archives of the Northern Star from 1996-2000.
