  2. Cries out for fact checking…PizzaBobby is running a second spot where he gums it up for the camera and flips some dough slabs in the air. Certainly the person I want in DC in 2013
Yikes! PizzaBobby must be very worried if RCCC is spending enough to dual track this early.

Here is a link to all the NRCC latest buys.Just 2 in IL . They must not want to spend in Chicago

  5. ugh. with little to no documentation, this looks pretty pathetic. From the ad, no one is going to believe that this road served only Bustos.

I guess she’s a member of the country club and that’s what sent someone into a tizzy. But realistically, that won’t cost her a vote.

  6. Cute, silly and memorable.
Not every negative ad has to look and sound like one.

This is a look at Obamas 2008 high water mark of vote in the current CDs . Even with gerrymandering there are enough districts that can be competative to keep the House in Play
I wonder what the GA districts would look like

  8. Mild and not very memorable.

  9. 2 out of 10 and that might be generous.

It’s not a good attack ad, doesn’t connect dots very well and they use a great picture of her. It’s kind of a weak attack, but they probably could have done a lot better job with it.

  10. Meh, it was very cute and the production values were pretty high.

For purchasing that in Illinois and for the obvious hard work that went into producing it, that ad is really a waste of money.

There’s no proof or documentation, her picture looked fantastic, and the message got lost in the cutesy imagery.

Oh, and you can make the case the ad could be considered sexist because the golf bag and clubs in the cart were pink.

  11. Ho Hum…

As was pointed out above, it seems unlikely many folks will think she paved a special road from her house to a golf course. If I were paying for the ad, I would ask for my money back.

  12. Waste of money. Just nonsence.

  13. This If Bustos can build a road as Alderman, imagine what she do as Congresswomen? Schilling is shilling for millionaires and billionaires.

  14. If memory serves, this road project was slated in East Moline before Bustos even became an alderman. Nice fact checking.

  15. I guess they couldn’t find a picture of Cheri where she wasn’t smiling. Keep running it. It takes the negative out of negative spots.

It’s an out-of-town-stupid spot, phoning it in. These congressional campaign committees are weak. I guess the A-Teams are working on the presidential and Senate races. The national folks producing these congressional spots have no game.
