Yeah, big money is old news I’m afraid. Just another individual exercising first amendment rights, lol.
Is there any quesstimate on how much Rauner/Griff are prepared to put in the race? Rauner has a great fundraising network but his trump cards are his and Griff’s deep pockets.
Are we talking Meg Whitman money?

Who is left to be persuaded?
It seems that right now, voters have already decided if they will vote out the incumbents, or if they will even show up to keep their incumbents in office.
Any money coming in has to go to getting out a voter base that isn’t very happy with Quinn.

I think if the Democrats can really squeeze out their voter base, Quinn has a chance. The money needs to go there.

Rauner ruined the idea of big money, sadly.
I still believe the fascination in money this cycle is the turnaround from account to the TV, Street, Salaries…
Nothing is really being stockpiled by Rauner, but Quinn is building for one big “pop” then the floodgates open.
That really has my attention. The “deposits”…
