  11. You got it backwards Pool Guy!
    First you get politically connected, and become a member of the ruling class - then the bucks roll in!

    Look at Harry Reid, Bill Clinton and others who used being a member of the elected ruling class to end up as multi-millionaires!

    Those folks are the new aristocracy. Aristocrats were friends of Kings and Queens. In the US, they are Democrats and Republicans with connections.
