Comment by LaughingJane Thursday, May 14, 15 @ 2:08 pm

  43. He looks like he’s leading a chorus. Sometimes the Gov. seems a bit clueless. For some reason, I can see him leading the group in this song, oblivious to the words:

“I’ve always been a hardworking man
I’ve always been a hardworking man
I’ve always been a hardworking man
I’ve lived my life the best way I can

I’ve always been a damn good union man
I’ve always been a damn good union man
I’ve always been a damn good union man
I’ve lived my life the best way I can

I’ve been a seaman, electrician, and in construction too
On assembly lines and factories and did some farming too
Fought company scabs, union-busting laws, walked many a picket line
For musicians, electricians, and workers in the mines

So when I die throw my ashes to the winds
When I die throw my ashes to the winds
When I die throw my ashes to the winds
I’ve lived my life the best way I can
Proud to live my life the best way I can”

I don’t play the same games you play.

‘Cos I’ve been talking to the people that you call your friends
And it seems to me there’s a means to and end.

    They don’t care anymore.
