Willie Wilson to announce bid for… President?

Wilson to Announce Run for President

Saying he has made up his mind about a possible run for President of the United States, Chicago millionaire businessman Willie Wilson is set to deliver that decision on June 1st.

“This has not been an easy decision for me”, says Wilson. “But I know that it is the right decision.”

Wilson announced earlier in the month that he had launched an exploratory committee that would ultimately advise him on what he should do.

Wilson has made it clear that if he decides to get into the ever-growing field of presidential hopefuls, that he would be “a people’s candidate.”

The former Chicago mayoral candidate says, “The citizens of America want a national agenda that focuses on their needs and improves their lives.”

Wilson will reveal his much-anticipated decision during a Southside news conference on Monday, June 1, 2015.

  1. And Tio Hardiman for Vice President! But sadly, the President and Vice President can’t both be from Mars so I guess my dream ticket won’t come to pass.

  23. It’s really not related to this situation, but it reminded me, just because it’s Chicago, of when Harold ran for president as a favorite son in the Illinois Dem primary in 1984.

Mondale put Harold up to it to stick it to Jesse Sr. And boy, did he ever.

Win-win for those two. Mondale won the primary, and Harold showed Jesse who had the juice in the city.

Apropos of nothing, Johnny Toews is the greatest leader in U.S, professional team sports. Unselfish, makes everyone around him better, works both ends of the ice and money when it counts.

Two Cups, two Olympic gold medals, and he’s just coming into his man-strength. He, Kane and Keith are going to be making us proud for many years to come.

This Hawks team is this generation’s rock-star MJ/Pippen Bulls. Don’t miss a minute of it.

  26. As a U.S. citizen he realizes he has a right to run for any office. There are no mandates that you must sound like a Harvard graduate or that you’ve been a career politician. He’s an honorable man who doesn’t believe his humble beginnings should limit him.
