  2. Not to be a nitpicker but I think you need to fix that link.

  3. It’s fixed.

  4. The irony is thick. One look at Mike Flynn’s writings at Reason.com shows that the former registered lobbyist is the real moderate in this race.

  6. Shocking alright.
The changing colors were enough of trouble, but then the expression “Hoo Boy” sorta sealed it for me.

Maybe the shocking stuff happened after I fell off this one. Jeepers.

  7. Welcome to politics PJ Media.

  8. And then I get hit with a mysteriously huge traffic spike.

    Hmm…

  9. LaHood’s ads on Peoria TV paint him as the most conservative voice since Ronald Reagan, with plenty of “I’m gonna do this” and “I’m gonna do that.”

Correct me if I’m wrong (and I’m sure someone will), but aren’t freshmen Congress critters told to sit down, shut up, and vote the way they’re told by party leadership?

Maybe with the exception of a few folks wearing those tinfoil tricorn hats.

  10. At least they add all the emphasis for you, Rich…

  11. The writing was so poor I never figured out what the “shocking admission” actually was. About 3/4 of the way through I gave up, just poor writing.

  12. Streator-welcome to campaigning. Senator LaHood’s ad is nearly identical to all other positive ads run by conservative candidates. They all talk about repealing obamacare, standing up to POTUS, etc. regardless of the fact none of them have the ability to do any of those things.

  13. Desperate.

And an excessive quantity of construction trucks, even for Peoria. My kids think it’s a commercial for trucks.

  15. Rich, although I don’t remember seeing it specifically referenced, I presume that “nutjob” is among the banned terms on here, so I will scrupulously avoid it. Instead, I will simply say that the fact that the revelations regarding black helicopters were mysteriously deleted from Mr Steinberg’s article proves conclusively that this leadership conspiracy goes to the very top (of a pile of BS).

  16. Wow. Only made it through part of it before having to move on. Probably trying the Dan Proft school of campaigning - lots of noise, very little effect. I’ll be flabbergasted if Flynn breaks 10%. I live in the district, and so far, mail breaks about 10 pieces for LaHood and 0 for Flynn, including serious repetition of NRA-endorsed and pro-life. I’ve see LaHood’s commercial quite a few times and heard ads on the radio a number of times, again with zero from Flynn. Surprised he’s not making more of a run, but it was a losing cause to begin with.

  17. Dana Loesch and Mark Levin are kingmakers…

Are we sure this wasn’t the Onion or something?

Comment by ArchPundit Thursday, Jul 2, 15 @ 3:27 pm

  18. talk about all in….. this is mostly “this guy likes him and is helping him,’ and so they hide the best point, the Nevada issues, in a pile of everything else. It’s so rambling and all over the place that anything that could be useful is not.
