hisgirlfriday beat me to the punch. Why speak to a few reporters if you are asking something of the legislature? Why not just contact Mike Madigan directly (after all he controls all things legislative).
More importantly, please fill me in why he would be asking to wait until tomorrow for an override? What am I missing here?

Why are there so many u-turns with Rauner, and why can’t he find his stride?
U-turns lack vision, and lead to illusions, and U-turns save face when denied.
So we’ve been told and some choose to believe it.
I know they’re right wait and see.
