Bruce, in mid shower, realizes the water is being turned off at the Mansion. Diana moves herself and the dogs to the Mansion View Inn. Goldberg writes a letter to the City of Springfield, Lance tweets about the advantages of bottled water over tap water. Comedy, 54 minutes.

Those aren’t hydrants. Those are referred to as FDCs (Fire Department Connections). Firefighters hook hoses from the pumper to them to pump water into sprinkler or standpipe systems. What system those are or were connected to, I don’t know. It’s possible that they were replaced with newer FDCs or the pipes underground were damaged, removed, etc. Just thought I’d provide some context.
