Mr Miller,
I am closing my nearly 26 years as a state employee. Today is my last day working at the Guardianship and Advocacy Commission.
While I may visit the blog from time to time, it is unlikely I will be posting since I am also leaving the state and traveling much over the next several years.
I appreciate this venue, and all the hard work you put into it. I may not be on the same “side” as you are but I appreciate having a monitored forum to see what other folks believe and say. There are few venues where this can occur, as you well know.

Thank you all for your kind words. I will likely lurk, from time to time. As far as trying to limit responses - I fear I will have limited success in that regard.
I have learned much from all of you - on both sides of the spectrum. I have found common ground with folks where it shouldn’t be possible. For that I consider my self blessed to have known Rich Miller and all of you.

I’m really just a lurker during the school year, reading when I get home in the evening which is too late to post, but I just have to say how much good it does me to be a witness to this exchange.
