Because… Rahm!

  1. With all the vitriol in the presidential races, I’m surprised that more local contests haven’t heated up to this level just to get some attention.

    We’ve lost our minds…

  2. Looks like IL has joined DC’s political war games!

  3. You haven’t seen anything yet! RAHM AND RAUNER TIME IS UP!

  4. This is not only bad for Alfaro, it is bad for Rahm too.

  5. Obvious she is ahead. The problem will be if they remember who is with Rahn and who is with Rauner. Voters in low-level races are lucky to remember who is running let alone who is being supported by whom.

  6. Don’t tell us what your going to do as a legislator just tells us how bad everyone else is.

  7. Illinois GO has dropped $48K in recent days in support of Alfaro and in opposition to Aquino.

Emanuel really must be stinking it up if he gets tagged with Rauner’s front group.

  8. We shouldn’t have to defend a Chicago mayor, an Illinois governor, an Illinois speaker of the house, or an Illinois senate majority leader. They have the power to make things happen and have staffers to tell Illinoisans their side of any controversy.

So, if one of them is unable to satisfy voters, political opponents have the right to tell voters that they don’t need to be reelected or supported.

That is the way it works. If Rahm is failing as mayor - he needs to face the music. His supporters can defend themselves why they believe in him during their reelection campaigns.

Chicago is not experiencing happy times. The Mayor is not meeting expectations. The Governor is failing to govern. Illinois is not functioning.

So let the chips fall where they may. Voters should revolt.
