Rich, there doesn’t seem to be any other way to offer this nugget. The House is preparing to pass a resolution to designate the Jim Thome Highway, but it incorrectly cites the location as “Illinois Route 24″. Don’t any staffers check on this stuff? Frankly, don’t the sponsors - who are from greater Peoria - know their own area’s highways?

The GA Dems - much like AFSCME - will need to compromise with the governor in order to get anything done. As much as I don’t like it, Rauner was elected. Don’t see the needed moving towards each other in the above stream unfortunately. Just more posturing and lamenting that we can’t get anything done.
