Rauner continues to dodge Trump questions

Posted in:

* Gov. Rauner again dodged questions about the presidential campaign today during a bill-signing event. Asked, for instance, if he planned to watch tonight’s big speech by Donald Trump, the governor said…

“I’m focused on Illinois’ prosperity and, uh, getting our Illinois, uh, reforms done. Political reform, economic reform, education reform.”

* Reminded that he said he’d support the party’s presidential nominee, so now that Trump is the nominee, what form would that support take?…

“Again, I, I’ve said what I’m, all I’m gonna say on the, on the presidential campaign.”

* Raw audio…

  4. Bruce Rauner, in every federal office, “Every”… Rauber supports the Republican.

Bruce Rauner, by his own words, supports Donald Trump.

Period. End of Discussion. Zero debate

Rauner supports Trump. Rauner said so.

Rauner ignoring this fact… speaks volumes about Rauner and his thought that Rauner will sheepishly, albeit boisterously at the Illinois GOP Convention, unquestionably support Donald Trump for President.

I know what I saw. I know what I heard.

Why all the games… Governor Rauner?

  9. He actually says that those who go on strike might not have positions when the strike is over. He goes into how to become a fair share member. He states that those who go on strike will have to pay both the employee and employer portion of the insurance premiums.
If the video doesn’t outright violate the National Labor Relations Act, it certainly comes vert close and if there is a strike and the administration takes any action against those who do strike, it has opened them up for years of legal battles and law suits for wrongful termination.

  14. –More like Madigan every day.–

In what way? Really, what does that mean?

Madigan’s ward was original, bedrock Reagan Democrat country. But if you look at the numbers, he obviously hustled to deliver what he could for Carter and Mondale.

Geez, I feel like I’m trying to be released from Egypt. Maybe a big storm, coupled with the Stockholm Syndrome, would stone me so much that I would believe Rauner’s transparent sabotage is reasonable…

    “Mark it a zero, Smokie… It’s a league game…”
