  1. Wow, they are really concerned about this guy and his very deep pockets running for Governor.

  2. Are you freakin’ kidding me boys? It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

  3. I’m warming to Pritzker for the simple reason that Diana Rauner got $5 million for The Ounce from the Pritzkers and Diana is putting her name to donations to this type of stuff so early.

    Classy.

  4. This is starting to seem like a little more than an early hit to keep him out of the race.

  5. There must be some real fear in that $3 billion coming in to play.

  6. Unprecedented. When you have next to nothing positive to tout about your own record, I guess there is only one thing you can do with all that money.

Personally I never thought JB was the candidate. But he doesn’t have to run himself to hit back. Why not drop $20-40m to punch the bully right in the nose?

Comment by Henry Francis Friday, Dec 16, 16 @ 3:41 pm

  7. Preemptive strike will either scare him away or make him ready to go to the floor in this fight. No surprise since Rauner never left campaign mode…

  8. I don’t know what to say to this, except that it looks like Rauner is hoping to run unopposed in 2018.

Also, there should be some sort of law of diminishing returns. Illinoisians have got to be getting sick and tired of this horsehockey.

  9. Know absolutely nothing about Mr Pritzker, but if a picture tells me anything, this is a fellow you wouldn’t want to anger,

  14. Too bad there isnt anything negative to tie around Rauner’s neck (like crippling social services and starving out universities)./s

Comment by Anonymous Friday, Dec 16, 16 @ 4:04 pm

  15. Come on! When will the people who support Rauner realize this is all a game to him? He does not care about the citizens, he only cares about himself.
