This should cheer him up — the Governor actually pulled the trigger and used the TR Armageddon quote with the teachers yesterday (Sun-Times). But the reporter clearly doesn’t read the blog or he would have referenced TR.

While we all light a candle for Rich….can we get some action on how badly SIU will thump UofI —if they make it to the 2nd round?
So let’s have both schools go “all in” with the state dough. Winner take all. Illini probably has enough salted away to live for a year. Heck Blinky Jim Edgar could skip a check and live off his UBet internet gambling director fees. SIU could build and build for a decade and still have $$ in the bank.
