  1. For updates: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/

Click on the hurricane on the map for an array of forecast materials. This could be quite bad.

  2. Honestly surprised there’s anyone in the country named “Bruiser” who’s not in Stockton for Sonny Bather’s funeral.

  3. Natural disasters oftentimes place a spotlight on government leaders and it will be interesting to see how DeSantis fares - I’m going with not so well.

Now there’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time, a very long time.

Since March 3rd, only 2 tweets.

I see what you did there, that’s pretty solid. Good stuff

Maybe the reason McQueary is out of the picture… it’s not wholly her choice?

    Who knows.

  18. My widowed stepmother is in Fort Myers. Am keeping eye on storm track. So far it seems Fort Myers may get brushed by the hurricane.

There is a good NHC KMZ file to keep track of hurricanes using Google earth.

  19. ==Right now it sounds Ft. Myers might be missed, but Tampa-St. Pete are wearing the bullseye==

The most recent NHC forecast track (11am Eastern) moves the track south and east. Good news for Tampa, bad news for Fort Meyers. The biggest storm surge flooding will be south of where the eye makes landfall; north of the eye, the winds will blow the water away from the shore.
