  1. Hynes is just now noticing the State is in finacial distress? Instead of critizing the Gov does the comptroller have any incite to offer on how to fix it?

  2. Did anyone notice that the Attorney General’s Public Access counselor is moving to PA to head their Open Records Office? Wonder what prompted that move?

  3. There is no Rauscehnberger vs Obama. Rauschenberger couldn’t win his party nomination, could not get himself appointed after the GOP nominee quit, he is a simple critic who runs for anything and has opinions of Obama. His opinions may hold truth, but he had his chance to oppose him in a race and lost. They are acting like Raschy is in some sort of race against Obama.

  5. Ghost - well, that *certainly* is one reason to leave. A nice salary package always helps with the moving expenses.

But I was wondering if the series on FOIA that the State Journal Register did some weeks ago had any influence in the decision.

  6. I doubt it. The PA position looks like it is much higher up, more prestige and a lot more money.

  7. Wow, more spending shenanigans at Emil Jones’ pet project, Chicago State University. A 17.7% graduation rate? The school should be abolished.

  8. Anyway Elnora can be fired and Chicago state University won’t have to pay her salary next year?
