  2. If a 0-107 vote on the GRT was a “victory” for Gov. Goodhair, I wonder how he’ll spin this 105-0 vote in his favor?

  6. I agree that fruit should never be combined with beer, even with Corona. Although I understand that a lime helps disguise the taste of that horrible product. I believe no fruit in beer is already a man law.

  7. Now, now don’t be such a snob. The Belgians have been brewing beer with fruit for a long time. They created such delicacies as lambic kriek (sour cherry), lambic fraise (strawberries) and the idea has sprouted on this side of the pond too with lambic cranberry (Sam Adams). The difference is, the fruit (or sometimes just fruit juice) is added after the first fermentation and then ferments in a secondary fermentation prior to bottling, which may involve a tertiary fermentation in the case of natural conditioning. This would differ from Bud Light lime in that I doubt any real limes are actually used and if they are, they’re probably not fermented.

  8. So sad that Bush threw Mary Gade and the pitiful citizens of Michigan under the bus. She did a good job as IL EPA director. She wasn’t political, unlike Doug Scott, the current director. Its not hard to predict what he would do if he were in her shoes. He’d fall over his feet to make political hay.
