On CTA performance, the transit agency is failing to meet its goals in reducing train delays, bus-bunching and equipment breakdowns, although improvements are being made, according to the first indicators released at Wednesday’s CTA Board meeting.

  7. There is a candlelight vigil set for Friday in Daley Plaza to mourn all those poor animals.

    I’m thinking of going and using a candle to cook up some liver.

  8. Friends of Larry’s will be putting together a memorial service sometime soon. It will likely be in early June. We will try to spread the word widely, and certainly we will ask Mr. Miller if he can share it with the Cap Fax Crew.
