  1. Two biggest developments of the weekend were the GOP COnvention platform plank against gambling expansion. That will mean Cross who has statewide hopes will bail out of the capital plan. Watson cannot afford to stick with the casino guys either.

    The ties to Rezko-Halverson-Peotone are shocking too. Wonder if the real media (if they still exist) will cover this one?
