  5. No snow in BloNo. Rain expected this afternoon when the temp now 36 degrees rises to 51. Good for the rhubarb so I have been told. Good excuse to stay in and watch NCAA basketball.

  13. Cook County (Thornton). Passed a couple groups of 3-4 of private plows from one company all heading the same direction this morning. Not sure if they were going for fuel or to fill salt spreaders, but we also had some sleet showers pass through this morning. It’s March, right??
