  36. I don’t think the “daddy stuff” is uncalled for. I’d say something similar if the vertically challenged and daddy enhanced Hynes was running for Governor. Then again it’s not my website.

As for the caption “Two Enter, Only One Leaves”.

Quinn strikes me like the Mickey Rourke character in “The Wrestler”. Battered and bruised after a long career, but ain’t gonna give up.

As for the Zogby poll I don’t believe it. Online? I picture hundreds of computers in basements all over the southwest side in use.

  45. polls me very little these days. I have been without a land line for nearly 9 years. the real pat quinn is going to show up one day and go off about the madigans and their participation in the chicago machine. She is a codependent enabler. She also has about as much speaking ability as my dog. Its all over folks. Fast Eddie may have skated but I predict the mayor will end up with what he deserves, a cell next to the hot rod. Chicago is worse than Mexico.

    ——–

Rich, I don’t view it as patronizing or sexist. I view it as a legitimate issue. One of the main reasons I could not vote for Lisa is her Dad’s position as Speaker and chair of the party. I was against Stroger’s ascension for similar reasons. To me it is a very important issue. We had a little revolution if I remember my history classes correctly, to get away from one family control of government. I am not prepared to allow both the executive and legislative branches to be controled by a single family. So to me, the “daddy” references are fine.
