Question of the day

Posted in:

* The photo below is of Sen. Roland Burris posing with Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the couple who allegedly crashed the White House State Dinner…

Back story here. [This photo is from a previous event, by the way. Ironically enough, the Salahi’s are now being accused of crashing that one, too.]

* The Question: Caption?

    “Excuse me, but may we cut in?”

    Is it just me or is Mr. Salahi really handsome and distinguished looking? I luv the white tux jacket thing. It’s so James Bond circa 1966. He looked good at the State Dinner–even better than his wife looked. She’s a lucky gal! But, I digress… ;)

  37. […] The folks at the Capitol Fax Blog ask their readers to provide a caption for this photo of the infamous party crashing couple, the Salahis, posing with U.S. Sen. Roland Burris and his wife, Michaele at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation dinner back in September – another party the Salahis are suspected of crashing. […]

  38. Well Roland, we attended the Jerry Berliant event crashing symposium in Chicago last year, and loved it so much we bought the complete boxed dvd Set, and have been studying and practicing ever since.

    The man’s a genius I tell you; just look what he’s done for us!

    You really should consider giving the man a lifetime achievement award before your time in the Senate is up.

  46. LOL 47th Ward,

    I didn’t read th replies earlier and just posted. I thought I was the only one to make that connection.

    Over the years, I saw Jerry at 3 baseball All Star Games, four World Series (not counting Chicago) and on Millionaire’s Row at the Kentucky Derby three times, and at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame event.

    The guys is everywhere.

  49. What a coincidence! It seems like forever people have been asking, ‘Roland, when are you going to be on a reality TV Show?’. Everybody wants to see Roland Burris on a reality TV show. There’s no question that I have the integrity and reputation to really do something on on a reality TV show. Do you think that you could get me and the wife on one of those shows you’re talking about? Maybe you could use my partner’s name if that would make things easier.

    Comment by Quizzical Tuesday, Dec 1, 09 @ 7:16 pm

  50. Well just between us; at the Derby, I was crashing too. It’s the most exciting two minutes in sports.

    Well played.
