    Good for the coyote.

  2. - fs - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 9:30 am:

“Soon after, Wile E. realized his search was pointless, as the Roadrunner was an expert in social distancing”

I’ve seen them in the loop before, so it’s not surprising they’re running around now.

My understanding is that it was an essential coyote.

  14. - Northsider - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 10:21 am:

Unseen in the photo is the coyote’s jaw flapping in the Roadrunner’s afterburner jetwash; from the light to Lake Shore Drive in two seconds.

    Where’s Will Smith?

    Earth abides…

  18. - Dog Lover - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 10:54 am:

Saw one in my backyard this morning, but my backyard is in the woods and has a creek running through it. A couple days ago two of them came up to our porch while we sat at the table just a few feet away. They could easily see us through the slider. Way too bold.

  21. - northernwatersports - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 11:06 am:

Good ol’ Mother Nature, attempting to find some balance, giving us a hint that we should all remember…we all share this planet together, its water, its air, its resources and its space. Share nicely or suffer from her rath. Be smart, be healthy and be respectful. We will all benefit.
    Respectfully

  22. - Anyone Remember - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 11:25 am:

Let’s see. There are editorials from media outlets to stop live coverage of Trump. Even an opponent of this position from the Trib concedes:

“Whether people like — or trust — what he says, they needed to hear him try to explain how he would reopen the country for business by Easter. People needed to hear him outright lie about the availability of test kits. They needed to see him look reporters in the eye and say he always knew this was a pandemic, though everyone knows he did not.”

Not aware of any media outlets saying the same about the Governor.

  23. - Practical Politics - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 11:25 am:

I’ve always wondered if the bend in the Chicago River, west of the Merchandise Mart, known as “Wolf’s Point” really referred to coyotes rather than wolves?

  24. - Anyone Remember - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 11:25 am:

    Sorry, wrong post.

  26. - Streator Curmudgeon - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 11:40 am:

“I haven’t seen anything this quiet since Madigan’s New Year’s Eve party.”

  27. - Streator Curmudgeon - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 11:41 am:

“What did Trump mean when he said this town has gone to the dogs. I don’t see any dogs.”

  28. - ???? - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 11:43 am:

  35. - 47th Ward - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 12:48 pm:

    Pretty funny A Guy.

Having a sense of humor is extremely important these days. The news is too horrible, so finding lighter moments to fill with laughter is always appreciated.

    Keep it up.

  43. - Hon. Don Gerard - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 2:16 pm:

  45. - 47th Ward - Monday, Apr 6, 20 @ 3:26 pm:
