ok, that is one freaky video. are skunks occasionally friendly? I have heard some are operated on to remove the spraying glands and that they are held as pets. (not cool) rabies fear always comes to mind.

Today is the 32 year anniversary of Gov. Thompson keeping the White Sox in Chicago, a great feat of lobbying.
As a child, my mother had a pet skunk. Found it as a kitten, had the scent glands removed. She said it was almost like a cat. Ate cat food, used a litter box, but would come when she called it. Unlike most cats I have ever known.
I recently watched a documentary on Mel Brooks (produced by the BBC). One of the many good segments was a visit between Brooks and Reiner who were long time co-workers and friends.
