Any discussion of a bailout for Prairie State and others? Seems that $400 million is owed. ComEd is in-line for state money as part of a clean energy deal…why not municipal utilities?

There’s so much special pleading to try to dismiss good fiscal news for the state. It really makes clear that most of the people who have spent most of my life complaining about IL finances were just grifting.
Old DJ and TV person Roe Conn hired by Sheriff Tom Dart to work on anti car jacking. I guess because Conn knows all about cars from hosting auto shows. Dart must have more old tv radio and print reporters or their relatives working for him than any other office holder in the country. Talk about buying good P R. It is soft corruption

Not only that, but also maybe because of all of those 1-877-CARS4KIDS ads that were (and maybe still are) on ad nauseum on WLS over the years. After hearing it once those spots get annoying, despite the charitable effort–and last I listened to WLS they sometimes ran Cars 4 Kids several times in an hour. Or so it seemed.
