I find it troubling that the Governor’s office views its relationship with the city of Chicago as adversarial “by nature.”

At the same time, the Governor’s office is criticizing the Trump administration for being adversarial.

It seems to me that you can’t have it both ways.

Guv’s relationship w/Chicago is adversarial because Johnson keeps making demands for money the City isn’t entitled to. Guv critizing Trump is correct because Trump keeps trying to end-run laws and the U.S. Constitution. Hugely different facts.

Until about 10 this morning I believed it to be Saturday, looking forward to Illinois vs Purdue. Imagine my surprise to find out it’s only Friday.
