  1. A ray of light in a dark time, the Henry Gerber bronze memorial dedication tomorrow. He along with Black clergyman John T. Graves and others started one of the first gay rights organizations in the United States in Chicago. Gerber’s extraordinary life included institutionalization for homosexuality, arrest, and military service. The progress made since that time is truly astounding, though even now the Supreme Court is looking at whether to overturn a Colorado ban on conversion therapy and fear of so much worse to come.

  3. McPherson got the crowd going. I liked it, but it was pretty derivative.

  4. Thank you for that information, Earnest @8:36. I wasn’t aware of the Legacy Walk outdoor museum until your post sent me to Google (despite being a museum nerd and LGBTQ+ Ally). Sounds like a destination worth a visit even if people can’t get to the dedication tomorrow.
