July 4 - I’m giving a tour at a FLW house. Might go to a neighborhood park later for the festivities, but that depends on how hot it is.

Plans: avoiding downtown and the street race; cutting up and freezing amazing peaches we got last weekend from the Georgia peach truck. I’m excited about the forthcoming holiday, which is my favorite holiday!
My go to song every 4th is Mellancamp’s “Justice and Independence ‘85”. (That Scarecow album sounds great on vinyl, btw, on vinyl fellow audiophiles.)
Don’t understand, however, why I can’t buy bottle rockets, fire crackers, or Roman Candles here. Yet I can drive 15 minutes and buy mortars and cakes which are much more dangerous in my opinion. Weird
