Good to see that John Lennon’s song is still topical. Of course, he also wrote “I’m So Tired” after “I’m Only Sleeping.”

They said the postal service would get slow in Illinois as changes happened. Well, I can tell you it is really slow now. Had something mailed to me from Springfield a week ago. Nothing yet and I am 70 miles away. I send correspondence to Philadelphia snail mail once a month. Used to take a week now it takes two weeks.

The Twins beatdown of the Cubs in the 8th last night was the baseball equivalent of the Simpsons “stop, stop, he’s already dead” meme, unfortunately.

Real talk, though, I really like the Twins “Twin Cities” jerseys. Don’t watch Sox ball, so last night was the first I saw them.
