Is it just me or is there a lot of misinformation flooding social media about Illinois depicting things as much worse than they are? I even saw something projecting Chicago murders to be between 750 and 800 this year which is way higher than they actually will be. We do have problems here to address but this stuff does nothing to help

@ Dtown Resident -
It’s not just you. Social media is ridiculous, and is generally best ignored. How about the silly rumor that the Mayor was going to deploy salt trucks to block the expressways so the NG couldn’t get to Chicago from Great Lakes?

“Summers end came faster than we wanted” is true pretty much every year

Another Bears season begins. Will it be fool’s gold again? Will optimism of a new year come crashing down due to yet more bad hiring and drafting decisions, or will this rebuild actually work?

It may be intensifying, but that’s been happening since the beginning of social media (and before).

Had a great time at yesterdays’ Cubs game until the 9th. Palencia just reminds me a lot of Alzolay. Not mentally tough, and he needs a better second pitch. Throwing 100+ doesn’t mean much anymore on its own.
Packers took care of business! As a Packers fan living in Chicago I enjoyed that greatly. Will see how the Bears do this evening. Will being offseason champs yet again yield any sustained success?
