Yeah Raushy, turn on your Sugar Daddy! Steve, as much as people seem to like/respect you, you have never been able to get gotes/raise money. If you had such a great message, you should have stayed in he gov race. If yu were smart, you’d have run for teasurer. Myabe now, you will become a lobbyist, serve on some commissions or whatever you ex-legislators do to get more of the public’s money. Then, you can come back with some $$$$$ and actually win a statewide race.
It looks like Oberwiese’s plan to have you guys steal votes from Judy/Joe did not work. Why didn’t you guys ever criticize Bi-Polarweis(Tm)?

Typical Rauschenberger, it’s never ever his fault when he doesn’t do well in an election.
This story shows Steve is like the rest of them, it’s all about the $$$$…so much for a reformer!

What an ego on Rauschenberger, all but saying that they only rose in the polls when he was featured in the commercials…he’s something else.

Rauschenberger was right. I think his perspective is: What is the point of adding me to your campaign if nobody ever saw me? He seemed to drop off the face of the Earth. That is Gidwitz’s fault. Nobody can tell me that with equal resources and face time, Birkett would beat Rauschy. It would not have happened. But, Rauschenberger did make a mistake in going with Gidwitz. He should have either stayed in the govs race or ran for treasurer. But it is too late now. I kind of thought at the beginning that joining the Gidwitz team was Rauschy’s goodbye…. Now it is official….

The following is a news release issued by the Illinois Committee for Honest Government in response to the balloting mess in Chicago and in suburban Cook County:
Responding to outcries over what is apparently the most mismanaged election seen in Chicago in decades, the Illinois Committee for Honest Government (ICHG) is calling for the resignations of Chicago Board of Elections Chairman Langdon Neal and Cook County Clerk David Orr for their utter incompetence to anticipate or deal with tens of thousands of ballots that remained uncounted at least three full days after the March 21 Primary Election had supposedly ended.
“Orr and Neal bear the responsibility of creating a mess of our voting system that has turned Chicago and suburban Cook County into the laughing stocks of the free world,†commented ICHG Secretary/Treasurer Randall Sherman. Sherman said the ICHG had witnessed and received reports of tabulating machines breaking down, precinct results that may have been sent multiple times, and wide-spread frustration by election judges that were not properly educated as to how to handle two new ballot systems at one time.
“It was worse than Florida (in 2000),†one election judge told Sherman. The judge was in one of hundreds of precincts where they were simply unable to post results, due to equipment problems.
As a result of this unprecedented level of incompetence and bureaucratic bungling, the outcomes of at least five election contests and numerous tax referenda on the March 21 ballot remain in doubt, and many now question if correct and accurate final results can truly be determined. Among the races that were unresolved 72 hours after the polls had closed included the Democratic Primary contests for State Representative in the 6th Representative District, the race for the third seat to be nominated for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District and an Appellate Court Judge race. Republican Primary uncertain races included the Cook County Board race in the 15th District and the Circuit Court Judge race in the 13th Subcircuit of Cook County.
“Chief Judge Timothy Evans and Presiding Judge Patrick McGann (of the County Division of the Circuit Court, which oversees elections) must take immediate action to reassure voters that fair elections can take place in Chicago and Cook County,†Sherman said. He also said that the ICHG would be asking the Illinois General Assembly to consider merging the election operations for Chicago and the Cook County suburbs if that is needed to avoid an even bigger fiasco with the November General Elections.
“As huge as the ballot was this time, can you imagine how it will be with some 70 or more retention judges tacked on to the fall ballot,†Sherman noted. “Something has to be done quickly to avoid an even worse nightmare.â€
Sherman said there is also a real possibility that a federal lawsuit may be filed under provisions of the Voting Rights Act, due to the seriousness of the problems, and the uncertainty that those in charge will be able to come up with true and accurate final vote totals in these closely contested races.

Everyone knew Rauschy was in the race. He is wrong! Perhaps he could have been in more of the commercials, but it wouldn’t have mattered too much. it is not like he was an unknown like Borling in the Senate race. He just didn’t appeal to voters, point blank!

Regarding the dental care crisis:
Why aren’t individual/family dental insurance policies offered by insurers in the state of Illinois? There are dental “discount plans” which are offered to those who do not have access to group insurance through an employer, but dental discount plans are not regulated by the department of insurance. These discount plans will only cover 10-50% of dental procedure costs. No wonder people are ending up in the poor house, especially when Blago makes sure we’re being taxed to death to pay for health care and social programs for Middle Class - who has money left over to pay for their own teeth?

Gidwitz campaign manager Calomino didn not want Rauschenberger to be seen or heard. There is a lot of discord there.
