* Yes, we’ve been doing a lot of caption contests lately. But, hey, it’s summer. We need a fun outlet. And this should do the trick. Here’s Gov. Pat Quinn wearing a Packers jersey and stocking groceries at a food pantry to settle his NFL Championship game bet with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker…
* Roundup…
* Gov. Quinn pays Bears-Packer debt to Wisconsin governor
* Quinn makes good on losing Bears bet
* Better late than never - Quinn makes good on bet
* Quinn just a bit cheesed at losing NFC bet
* Raw tape…

This is ramen, mighty ramen, ramen that may have been made in part from fine Illinois soy, you know I have been a big proponent of soy, a fine bean, a bean that can do mighty things. Look there is some Captain Crunch, good man the Captain, I have asked the department of agriculture to work on improving our crop of crunchberrys…

“If you didn’t know better, you’d think it’s another Pat Quinn flip-flop. But on this occasion, it’s actually Governor Quinn keeping his word. Governor Quinn is repaying a bet from last football season but, as usuall, his payment is exceptionally late.”

Quinn searches for the macaroni and cheese with his picture on the box, which due to his agreement with Kraft, is the only boxed food he is allowed to serve.

Sadly the definitive answer would understandably not pass Rich’s family filter, but would refer to a certain famous SNL music video starring Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg.

“Another Illinois governor in uniform in Wisconsin doing community service.” — Ironically, the federal pen in Oxford WI is not that far (same town) as a Boy Scout Camp, someday if God has a sense of humor I will encounter Rod on a service day (they use prisoners to do work at the camp from time to time)…
Too bad the scouts don’t have a haircare merit badge, he would be perfect to lead that.

Pat Quinn wears a Packers jersey and stocks groceries at a food pantry to settle his bet with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. Many state workers harmed by Walker’s policies are expected to visit the pantry. In a related event, Gov. Walker will soon visit an Illinois pantry and cook meals for Illinois workers harmed by Quinn’s anti-government worker policies.
Comment by truthman Wednesday, Aug 3, 11 @ 5:17 pm
Quinn to himself, “This isn’t so bad. If I lose the election I can get a job. Now I have experience. The cameras have to be good for business. That’s it, I am asking for an application just in case…. jeesh, its better that what Rod and George are doing, what do they get 13 cents an hour, I bet this pays minimum wage. Yeah, I knew this governor thing would lead to good things…Hell, I didn’t lose a bet, I won an opportunity.”
