How long will the press ignore the 800lb. gorilla in the room, Tony Rezko? The prosecutions “choice” to let Stuart “soup for brains” Levine testify instead of the bag man, the man who made the deals, laundered the money and knows where the bodies are buried Tony Rezko…Levine who in the trial of Tony Rezko admitted using meth, cocaine, crack & ketamine for over 30 years…who couldn’t remember writing a check for 3 million dollars….who got caught lying by Duffy saying he went “cold turkey” after his arrest only to admit under cross that he had “used” a couple of times after that…THIS is the prosecutions prime witness??? When they could have Tony??? I know the feds have enless amounts of money and could try Cellini again and again but why not get it right the first time???

What money? The U.S. Attorney has not charged Rezko, Cellini or Blago with taking a dime. Basically, they’re charged with being bad, unsuccessful extortionists who never saw a buck for their efforts.

they can’t have rezko testify because of the letter he wrote to the judge about the feds trying to force him to “make up stories about blago and obama that were not true.” Can you imagine what dan webb would do to reckon cross examination?

Cellini will be convicted. Since Dan Webb went over to the darkside, he has made millions, but his criminal clients are mostly doing time someplace - see George Ryan, etc.

anon; yes they have that very well known letter but if you have followed any federal trial most all their witnesses are criminals who have admitted lying to save their own skin…working around this kind of witness flaw is what the feds are good at…
Compare that letter to Stuart Levine who also has admitted lying to the feds…Has perjured himself in the Rezko trial saying that he went “cold turkey” after his arrest only to admit under cross by Duffy that he had “used” a couple of times after his arrest.
He has admitted 30 years of illegal drug use, spending over a million dollars in a 4 year period.
He has admitting using drugs at the office, where he signed a check for $3 million dollars and then “forgetting” and accusing his secretary of forging his name…
He has admitting lying to his wife, children family and friends about his life-style…having multiple homosexual affairs…
Stuart Levine has serious memory difficulties that was amply displayed at the trial of Tony Rezko…The letter of Tony Rezko cannot compare to the absolute witness tragedy of Stuart Levine…
