* From Illinois Review…
Today, Congressman Walsh will finally have his first debate with Tammy Duckworth. You can watch the debate live on CTLV or wgntv.com at 6PM Central. For those who still would like to submit their questions for Joe and Tammy, you can submit them on the “Politics Tonight” website.
* The Question: What would you like to see asked at tonight’s debate?
It’s Friday, so snark is not discouraged.

Congressman Walsh, you’ve excoriated the state for paying its bills late and running up huge liabilities. If such behavior is bad for state elected officials, is it acceptable for congressmen to be overdue in paying their taxes and other bills?

Cong.Walsh—Do you think your secret deadbeat agreement to stay secret the entire campaign or will you go the way of Jack Ryan and other who watched “sealed” docs serve as the kindling for the end of career bonfire

Tammy Duckworth - will you take your marching orders from Rahm Emanuel?
Joe Walsh - will you take your marching orders from the Koch brothers?

Mr. Walsh, just how loud are the voices in your head and do they ever suggest that you set fire to things?

Rep. Walsh, you voted to toss out the budget deal that Speaker Boehner agreed to last year following acrimonious negotiations that led to a downgrade of US debt. Instead of automatic across the board spending reductions, the new bill you voted for cuts food stamps, meals on wheels and other social spending instead of deep cuts to defense that Boehner wanted.
Don’t you think the Pentagon is a good place to cut spending, given the withdrawl from Iraq and next year’s exit from Afghanistan? If so, how much would you cut?

Congressman Walsh: In 1976 the rocker with the same name released an album titled “You Can’t Argue with a Sick Mind.” Would you say that was foreshadowing?

For Duckworth: name a position you have that is in disagreement with President Obama’s policy.
For Walsh: name a position that you have that is in agreement with President Obama’s policy.
